Here are the rules for the 2010 100 mile single cylinder vintage sled races. Check to make sure that your sled meets these requirements.


Classes:
1974 and older HR single cylinder stock
Powder-Puff 1974 and older HR single cylinder stock class rules
1974 and older HD single cylinder stock
1975-2000 single cylinder sport class – Trophies only
2000 and newer single cylinder, fan class – Trophies only

Rules and Regulations for 1975-2000 Single Cylinder Sport Class:
1. Must be production line snowmobile that came with a single cylinder engine. No free airs.
2. Stock CDI ignitions and Mikuni carbs may be used.
3. Must have quiet muffler - no stingers.
4. Primary and secondary clutches must be stock for model.
5. All other rules same as HR and HD classes.
6. Trophies only - 40 sled limit. First come, first serve.

 

Rules and Regulations for Fan 2000 & Newer Single Cylinder Sport Class:
1. Must be production line snowmobile that came with a single cylinder fan-cooled engine.
2. Stock CDI ignitions and Mikuni carbs may be used.
3. Must have quiet muffler - no stingers.
4. Primary and secondary clutches must be stock for model.
5. All other rules same as HR and HD classes.
6. Trophies only - 40 sled limit. First come, first serve.

 

You May:
1. Change gear ratio.
2. Change clutch weight and springs.
3. Change seats, handle bars, running boards for driver comfort.
4. Drill tunnel to allow for raising or lowering of skid frame or boggie wheels.
5. Remove head and tail lights.
6. Win.

 

You Must:
1. Have all original suspension parts in place. You may strengthen these parts, but not remove.
2. Have an operating tether switch. NO EXCEPTIONS.
3. Have a belt-clutch guard in good condition.
4. Conduct yourself in a sportsman's like manner.
5. Have a great time.
